We stayed at Aston Villa this past weekend to escape the city. Aston Villa was the perfect getaway and allowed for some much needed R&R. Louise and Dean made everything seamless from booking to departure. They were available for anything we needed but also just let us relax and be in their stunning guest home. We would highly recommend Aston Villa to anyone local thinking of a beach town retreat. Bonus - Wren thé dog is also a friendly additional host :)

Amazing location, quiet and peaceful yet, only minutes to town and rail. Accom was spacious light and clean. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Great to host New Zealanders - lovely to have you both to stay. See you next time here on the Kapiti Coast.

Thank you for the good advice about visiting the Routeburn Track. We remember the period at your place and the nice conversations we had when you invited us for a glass of wine.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and felt at home. The location was perfect for our needs as we had friends in Waikanae and were heading to Wellington the next day. The guest suite was spacious, sparkling clean and had all we needed. The bed and bedding were very comfy with a serene outlook from the bedroom. The small touches were appreciated. Dean and Louise prepared a delicious spread for breakfast, so generous and accommodating.

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful place. Everything was perfectly done and our hosts were welcoming and our stay was to our satisfaction. Breakfasts were particularly good, using local produce, and it was great to try the honeycomb from their own hive. Dean and Louise seem to genuinely enjoy their guests.

Your beautiful home and your friendly welcome made it a real home away from home and many thanks for all your helpful information. As you said that is one of the best things meeting like minded people.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts Louise and Dean in their brand new amazing spot with views to die for. A home from home for us. They showed us the porpoise build guest wing with your own private entrance, two! areas to sit outside, a living space with pantry and large TV, an amazing bathroom and the bedroom with a bed you never want to get out anymore. All the materials, fabrics and furniture are of a very high standard and in a warm and welcoming color scheme. It is immaculately clean. There are a lots of "table" and travel books and magazines to sit with somewhere relaxing with a cup of tea and fresh cookies and chocolates. The breakfast is delicious with all fresh, good quality and organic produce. And the honey is the best ever tasted, Henk said. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely come and stay again. So much to see and do in the area and so convenient to visit Wellington by train. No parking problems in the city and Waikanae station is only a few minutes away with more than enough free parking. Ngã Mihi, warm regards and see you again soon.
